By the time you’re reading these lines, I’ll be hanging out in a movie theater in Paris, probably watching a super-subtle movie such as Solomon Kane, in order to start 2010 with the refinement and intellectual activity it deserves. Ahem.
More seriously, I told you recently that this blog would receive much more numerous (if not regular) updates. How come ? Simply because these last months, I’ve been struggling to find a solution to a problem that’s been bugging me for some time : how to choose the site for which I should write ? My time is split between the blog where you are presently wasting your time, the site CDImagination.net where I write with my librarian colleague Frédérique Lamy and Fais-Moi Jouer !, co-founded with Julien Aubert. From now on, and so that I stop wasting time on deciding what to publish where, any article published over at these two sites will at least be linked to from Lire.Ecrire.Jouer.
And on this enjoy your day, I’m going back to my movie !
Edit : Don’t bother going to see Solomon Kane, it’s absolutely not worth it. Instead, focus on the books it’s been adapted from, where the eponymous character is much, much more interesting ! On the movie front, go and catch a showing of It’s complicated and enjoy Alec Baldwin’s gut – you won’t be sorry.
